I was extremely satisfied with the Italian course I took part in, in 2019. I can confirm that Elisa is a very well organized teacher. Her lessons were well planned, and they always had a space reserved to grammar. We received homework and exercises built around the grammatical rules seen in class. We also received a report of each lesson, so that we could review it on our own. To brush up on my Italian, I still use a book that consists entirely of her lessons. Elisa prepared also many fun and instructive “games”, which we used to practice conversation. Overall, her lessons were varied and fun. Elisa was also able to create a beautiful atmosphere in the classroom, thanks to her informal and charming style. Finally, she always had a very encouraging attitude, so that we never felt it was “risky” to make mistakes when we spoke. On the contrary, we were inspired to try to actively participate to the lesson.

Elisa Anzani was my teacher for one year. As a person, she is very nice, kind, supportive, responsible and meticulous. As a teacher she is very skilled and creative. Her lessons are interesting and instructive in every way. She uses different methods and sources in addition to the textbooks, such as videos, various games and apps. This makes it easier to learn, because you remember things better when you have a fun and varied lesson that never gets boring.
The fact that Elisa is multilingual is an advantage when working with multicultural people. It has been a great pleasure for me to have Elisa Anzani as my Italian teacher. I highly recommend her!

During the period in which Elisa was a teacher in my group, I have immediately understood that she was professional, talented and well organized. Elisa has been a fantastic teacher, always well structured and organised. Thanks to her structured teaching method, I have always managed to keep up with the rest of the class, despite the fact that I could not always come to class. We followed the chapters of the textbook step by step, talked a lot, read a lot and Elisa always explained the grammar and rules of Italian in an easy way. We have dealt with many small details, but Elisa has always managed to keep the focus on the big picture.

Elisa has been my Italian teacher for three and a half years. In the last six months we have switched to online lessons. Skype has been a perfect solution and alternative to the lessons in class, much better than I had anticipated. Elisa is a creative teacher: she uses games, makes us listen to Italian music, shows us Italian movies, and encourages us to have rather difficult conversations. She is a good teacher, very well prepared and she motivates us students by always giving us homework. Her teaching gives me joy and energy and makes me appreciate the Italian language very much. I took part of Elisa’s Italian classes with a group of six to eight people. The students had a slightly different level, but Elisa has always managed to keep the lessons interesting and useful for each of us. She was particularly good at creating variety during the lessons, and we learned the language through games, movies, grammar exercises, reading and speaking. Elisa is always well prepared and corrects each student’s homework, always giving good advice. I highly recommend taking courses with her!

I attended Elisa’s Italian classes for several years and she was always brilliant. She is always positive and very well prepared and she taught us Italian through varied activities. We played simple card games, saw videos, sang Italian children’s songs and we learned about Italian culture. How many times do you happen to see a group of people over 50, who have fun while playing card games with Italian words? Elisa always gave us homework for the next lesson, she told us to contact her if we needed help and when we did, she would always answer. We have learned a lot of Italian; this is something that I got to experience when I went to Italy last October. I was pleasantly surprised.

Elisa is a very nice teacher who really cares about her students’ progresses. She was always very helpful, taking time to answer to all our questions and doubts. I loved the language games she organized for us. She herself knows a few languages, so she is aware of difficulties foreigners can have during the learning process, and she can find similarities between Italian and some other languages.

Elisa is always well prepared, well structured, dedicated and her methods are efficient; she is also very good at motivating students and at providing explanations. I have often asked questions about the previous lesson and she always had time to answer them.
Her lessons are very varied – she made us read, talk, listen and, when she realized that we were beginning to be tired, she made us learn with more fun and recreational activities. Elisa is flexible and we could give her suggestions for topics we wished to explore more. She managed to make sure that I would always give my best; after each lesson I was in fact tired and at the same time very satisfied.
